Maintenance: What's Included?

With a comprehensive maintenance plan for your WordPress website, you can rest easy knowing that your site is secure, updated, and backed up. This plan does not include content changes.

You CAN purchase annual licenses for these plugins yourself. Visit my Recommendations page for more information.

Keep in mind that these plugin licenses must be renewed annually, or the plugins will not be updated, and your site will not be protected.

Save money and time! A maintenance plan means I activate and set up the latest features included in these plugins on your site.

Security:

WordPress can be vulnerable to hackers and bots. Maintenance includes the latest in WordPress security, including:

  • Brute Force Login Protection
  • Malware Scanning
  • File Change Detection
  • 404 Detection
  • 2-Factor Authentication
  • Away Mode
  • And more...

Updates:

It is essential to keep WordPress software and plugins up to date at all times to prevent website intrusion and data loss. Maintenance includes WordPress core, theme, and plugin updates.

Backups:

It’s equally as important to keep recent full site backups. Maintenance includes weekly full site backups that are stored safely in the cloud.

Uptime Monitoring:

Your site's uptime is tracked. If your site goes down (almost always due to your hosting provider), I will be notified. If the site is down for an extended period of time, I will check in with your host to investigate the problem. Fixes due to hosting/server issues are not covered by a maintenance plan.

Reports:

You will receive a detailed report each month, describing the work performed.

NOTE: Maintenance does not include content changes or troubleshooting. These services will be invoiced at my hourly rate.
